If you are tired of feeling unable to manage your feelings or things are not working for you or your family, you have come to the right place. Understanding the impact of psychological trauma became my passion, and becoming a trauma specialist, my professional and personal goal.
I’m a Hispanic female born and raised in Puerto Rico. I completed a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have specialized in providing evidence-based treatments for trauma-related disorders (including Complex Trauma and Posttraumatic stress disorder), depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, and dissociative disorder.
I’m trained in EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems Level 1, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma Level 1.
I’m committed to helping individuals, children, and families who have encountered different adverse experiences learn how to regulate their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and create new ways to see themselves and the world.
In my sessions, I provide an integrative approach, taking into consideration the person’s strength as well as the interaction between biological, cognitive, cultural, social, and spiritual factors that impact the human’s life.
